Candidate Forum for Loveland Election

It’s Election Season

On Thursday, September 21 the League of Women Voters of Larimer County is hosting a candidate forum for the Loveland City Council & Mayoral Candidates, as well as a Thompson School District Board of Education.

The school district forum will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m., followed by the city forum from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The form will be held at the Loveland City Council Chambers, 500 E Third, Loveland CO.

Audience members are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to each forum in order to submit questions.

There are three candidates for the office of Loveland Mayor, three candidates for Ward 2, two candidates for both Ward 1 and 3, and a single candidate running unopposed in District 4.  There is only one contested race for the Thompson Board of Education and two candidates running unopposed.

Candidates’ answers to League generated questions can be found on Vote411.  This website also includes information about any other ballot issues that voters will see this fall.

The League is especially grateful to the City of Loveland for accommodating and streaming both forums on city cable Channel 16.  The forums will be live and rebroadcast for greater viewership.

UPDATE: If you missed the forum, you can view it online here!
